Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight end, who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. As one of football's greatest tight ends Anthony David Gonzalez is also the NFL leading receiver of yards for tight ends, and is third overall in receiving.
Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez was a guest as a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's hour-long NFL pregame program preceding FOX NFL the SUNRISE) and is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez's assertion that he would retire from the NFL after 2013 was not true. On the 15th of March 2013 Gonzalez signed with Falcons a 2-year contract for $14 million. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leader of active receiving yards for the final time in his career.
